dezeen
Zaha Hadid’s aquatics centre for the London 2012 Olympics opened this week, exactly one year ahead of the opening ceremony, while new aerial photos of all the venues were released and the Olympic medal design failed to impress. See all our stories about the London 2012 Olympics here. Our most popular story of the week featured a cliff-top house inspired by a Picasso painting but our favourites were a kiosk at Grand Central made from torn copies of the New York Times, a community built around public toilets and a robot that steals your covers in the morning and poos all over the floor. Meanwhile we’ve made a few changes to Dezeen’s layout and navigation - take a look around and tell us what you think!
