Ole Scheeren opened his new studio, having left OMA in March 2010, Pugh + Scarpa announced their decision to split and Alexis Georgacopoulos was appointed director of ECAL. Meanwhile Foreign Office Architects completed their tile-clad Ravensbourne campus and Eastern Design Office completed a house for a dying client. The Hel Yes! temporary Finnish restaurant opened in London, Studio Toogood released a collection of handles modelled on sticks, stones and bones, and Dutch architects Bureau SLA finished the National Glass Museum Holland, which is clad in plastic.
