dezeen Posted November 19, 2011 Report Share Posted November 19, 2011 This time last year Foster + Partners completed a solar-powered urban development in Abu Dhabi and unveiled plans for a museum in the same city with wing-shaped towers designed to act as thermal chimneys. Dezeen compiled an extensive report for kitchen appliances brand Scholtès that explored the relationship between food and design, Yves Béhar of Fuseproject sent us early sketches of his Jambox speaker and we rounded up all of our stories on education buildings. Zaha Hadid Architects’ proposal for a theatre in Morocco was described by one reader as looking like “a giant mobile phone or maybe a vacuum cleaner,” and architect Álvaro Leite Siza designed a home for himself with a faceted exterior.
